
Who is Edwardo Rivas?
Eddie Rivas is a BMI songwriter & publisher, Grammy award-winning musician, composer, producer, and educator. Based in San Antonio, TX, he has established himself among the most diverse and in-demand drummers around.
Eddie comes from a family of musicians that have been playing music all over the globe for decades. He has been part of many recordings with sixteen-time Grammy award-winner Gibby Valasquez. Eddie currently plays with three-time Grammy award-winner Joe Posada, along with actor Jesse Borrego, The Westside Horns, Texas rock guitarist Ruben V, and Broadway singer Lee Cadena.
Eddie leads a successful studio, ReelMixx, producing creativity and evolving musical style keep him in-demand as a collaborator for artists internationally. As a songwriter for BMI, one song of many he wrote Emilio's (Lucero Di Mi Alma) that won a Tejano Music Award and was also played by the San Antonio Symphony.
