Edwardo Rivas comes from a family of musicians that have been playing music all over the globe for decades. He has been part of many recordings with Gibby Valasquez and Joel Guzman in the 90s. He also played drums for Emilio, Ram and Joe Posada just to name a few. As a songwriter for BMI, one song of many he wrote Emilio's (Lucero Di Mi Alma) won a Tejano music award and has been in over 15 compilation CDs. He also has been part of records that were nominated for a Grammy and is a voting member for The Recording Academy (Grammy's). He is a voting member for the Grammy’s.
